26 March 2015 – PYI supports “Earth Hour”, the world’s largest collective environmental action again this year. The Group will turn off all the non-essential lights and appliances in office at 8:30pm on 28 March (Saturday) to pledge our support to “Earth Hour 2015”. All staff members are encouraged to join this event together with their families and friends, to promote the reduction of energy consumption and to care for environment.“Earth Hour” is a worldwide event to promote the reduction of energy consumption. Organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Earth Hour encourages individuals and businesses to create a sustainable future by turning their lights off for one hour. In 2014 over 3,800 companies and buildings, universities and education institutions and government bodies in Hong Kong also supported this campaign.
