12 May 2011 – Nantong Port handled 38,776.5 TEUs in April, a 16.8% increase from the same period of last year. It broke its record in March and set the highest monthly container throughput record again.

By the end of April, Nantong Port accumulated container throughput of 169,000 TEUs, up 31.5% year on year. Nantong Port expected to achieve 500,000 TEUs annual container throughput this year, and it has completed 1/3 of its target.
