1 July 2010 – PetroChina LNG project is a key milestone in the development of Yangkou Port. The two storage tanks on the Sun Island are nearly completed and expected to commence operation by the end of this year. The construction of associated terminal for vessels of 100,000 tonnage has entered the final stage.

The construction project of PetroChina LNG receiving station supporting terminal contains terminal and bridge approach. The construction scale of the steel trestle in span of 86.8m is an international mega project ranking among the Asia’s top three and the World’s top five. The bridge approach is handed over to the owner and the construction of the terminal is at the final stage.
